Dan Payn

DanSpecializes in Aerial, Architectural, Product, and Landscape photography and  has a current practice in the US Virgin Islands based out of St Thomas.
Dan attended Corcoran College of Art and Design where he received a BFA in Fine Art Photography. 
Dan's recent professional life has been centered in Aviation and Aerial survey.  Dan spent four years working as lead unmanned aerial systems pilot and sensor operator for Keystone Aerial Surveys.  During this period he completed his  SEL, MEL, instrument commercial ratings for aircraft and began flying as an aerial survey pilot.  In the time since Dan has worked as a contract pilot for various aircraft operators throughout the US and as a contract UAS Pilot.
Prior to moving into aviation Dan worked has a photographer for the Smithsonian's Museum of the American Indian and the University of Vermont as well  as  extensively as a freelance photographer. 
Dan has exhibited his photographs in Washington DC, Virginia, and Vermont both as an individual and as part of group exhibitions.
